Lindy Hop (also known as Jitterbug) is probably the most well-known of the Swing dances. Originating in Harlem, New York in the 1920s, it flourished in the 1930s and 1940s with the popular swinging jazz music of the era. It is the original Swing dance and grandparent to styles such as West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, and Boogie Woogie.
Lindy Hop is a highly social dance, perfect for all ages and levels of fitness. Danced to Big Band music with a swinging pulse, Lindy Hop is addictive and a whole lot of fun!
